I collaborated with the internal creative team at CBOE to create these playful videos that welcomed Nanos options into the world. Trading is complex, and it was very important to my client that we create a video that was engaging enough to watch, and concise enough to follow.
I was provided a series of 'thumb character' designs from CBOE. I thought they were extremely adorable. Their unique, simplified characteristics provided me a launch pad to build out all remaining elements and illustrations.
Throughout these videos, the yellow ball acts as our chaperone, guiding us from scene to scene. I wanted to infuse as much confidence and personality as I could into this edgeless freak - and it worked! He's elastic, a little humorous, and very trustworthy.
