'Back to Life'
The West Virginia Department of Health was looking to create two PSAs that raised awareness of the state's addiction treatment programs. I worked very closely with the excellent creative team at Fahlgren Mortine as well as Director Chad Terpstra to create two visually stunning pieces that showcased real-world survivors and their stories.
We filmed the interview portions on an isolated set due to Covid 19 restrictions and were limited to two separate angles for the talent. This presented a wonderful creative challenge - we relied heavily on a 'double exposure' effect (and gorgeous drone footage) to create unique, resonant compositions for each moment of the story.
